Tips
- Good
technique practiced throughout the training session
is an essential part of a swimmers race strategy.
- Every
time you do two lengths there is an opportunity to
practice the correct turn for the stroke that you
are doing.
- Start
from the blocks at the beginning of each session.
- Know
your stroke count for every stroke in both 25m and
50m pools.
- Arrive
in time to do a poolside warm up before you get into
the water. Always stretch at the end of a session.
